K9 Advantix II

K9 Advantix®II protects dogs from fleas, ticks, mosquitoes, lice, stable flies, flea eggs, and flea larvae.

Parasites such as fleas, ticks, lice and flying insects are more than just a nuisance. The bites from these parasites can cause allergic reactions and dermatitis, lead to secondary bacterial infections and even transmit diseases.
K9 Advantix®II kills fleas and ticks through contact, meaning they don’t have to bite to be affected by the active ingredients. K9 Advantix®II also kills mosquitoes and lice, as well as reduces mosquito bites and stable fly bites on dogs.

What are the K9 Advantix®II active ingredients and how do they work?

K9 Advantix®II contains the active ingredients imidacloprid, permethrin and pyriproxyfen that kill adult fleas, flea eggs and flea larvae, kills ticks, mosquitoes and lice, and reduces mosquito and stable fly bites. K9 Advantix®II is administered as a topical treatment and should only be used on dogs. Do not use on cats.

How to apply

1. Step

Remove collar prior to application. Remove one applicator tube from the package.

2. Step

Hold applicator tube upright and pull cap off.

3. Step

Use the reversed cap to pierce and twist off the seal from the tube.

4. Step

Part your dog’s hair, starting at the shoulder blades.

5. Step

Apply the entire content of the tube evenly to specified spots along your dog’s back from the shoulder to the base of the tail.

For dogs less than 25 kg (under 55 pounds): with your dog standing, apply the entire tube to one spot on your dog’s back between the shoulder blades.

For dogs over 25 kg (over 55 pounds): with your dog standing, apply the entire contents of the tube evenly to 5 spots along your dog’s back from the shoulder to the base of the tail.

For all size dogs: do not rub in treatment, allow to dry naturally.

Make sure you record the treatment date and repeat monthly.

Note: only apply to intact skin. Keep recently treated animals separated so they can’t groom each other.
